good things that have happened lately


  • someone ordered my favorite drink at the coffeeshop because I told them it was my fav drink
  • I ended up running with the local cross country team (even though home schoolers aren't allowed to join). we gave each other high-fives. 
  • my pretend brother gave me a film camera, my uncle gave me a film camera, and then my real brother gave me a film camera. these guys know the way to my heart. 
  • I found a brand new pair of jeans (that fit) at a thrift store.
  • I've been hiking a lot lately. 
  • my friends and I sat around a table eating sandwiches and talking about lord of the rings. 
  • I picked up a random book at the coolest bookstore ever and bought it. 
  • 24 more days until I get to see this girl. 
  • I left the lights on at work last night and it made me glad that I only live 3 mins away. 
  • I have exactly half a year left before I'm an adult. 
  • I'm not sure if the statement above is good or not. 
  • I finished a bunch of books.
  • There's hope in this world. 
  • And Jesus is always here, too.

    What is your favorite drink at the coffee shop? (I'd trust your judgment. . .coffee shops overwhelm most people!)
    The film cameras - I laughed out loud!
    Once your turn eighteen, write a sob post so I can sob with you - because I really can't handle it either.

      It's an iced dirty chai tea latte. Yum. We definitely should have a sobbing party.

    I love talking about Lord of the Rings or anything Tolkien - I usually strike up conversations about it a lot!
